Keeping Green

The remodeling of our guest rooms and suites is underway and it has been such a thrill! We’ve been busy picking out new fabrics and paints in warm, vibrant colors and hand-selecting furnishings that are every bit as comfortable as they are contemporary. But the thing we’re most excited about here at MGM Grand is how we have the opportunity to incorporate environmentally responsible elements into each room. Every little bit helps when it comes to sustainability, so imagine the impact of over 5,000 rooms! And although our commitment to sustainability is important, so is our commitment to your comfort, so every detail was chosen with these two things in mind. Solar shades and improved thermostats will help our guests be able to better manage the temperature of each room. Upgraded faucets and showers will conserve water without sacrificing comfort. And our bath amenities are 100% biodegradable and 100% luxurious.

As guests move toward the renovated rooms, hues of fuchsia, cherry, icy blue, amber and taupe convey a sense of movement and color, slowly leaving behind the fast-paced spaces of the gaming and entertainment areas. Just the right mix of wood accents, leather wall fabrics and a bit of mirror hint at what is to come.
